Giving by text is quick, convenient, and secure. Below are answers to common questions about text giving. To get started, simply text a dollar amount to the campus number of your choice below. You will then receive a one time text with a link to enter your name, address, and credit card information. Remember to save the number as a contact in your phone for future giving. You will receive a text with a link to enter your name, address, and credit card information. This is a one time setup and you will not need to enter the information again when you give by text!
Yes. All financial information is stored with bank level security. All information is encrypted and stored by our service's banking partner to Level 1 PCI compliant standards. Level 1 PCI compliance is a set of rules stated by credit card companies and audited by an independent third party, Level 1 PCI is the highest possible rating. Additionally all transmission to our banking partner and on our site is via an encrypted HTTPS connection.
No. However, you can see your history in GraceAccess if you choose to set up an account.
At this time, all giving by text will go to each campus' general offering fund. Each campus has a unique phone number to give to their general offering. They are noted to the right of this page.
Each campus' phone number is unique to that campus. You can rest assured that if you gave using your campus' phone number, your gift will go to your campus. You are also able to view your history in GraceAccess (my.gfc.tv), and this history will show the fund your gift went to.
Any giving done throughout the week by text is uploaded into GraceAccess. Depending on when you gave during the week, you will be able to see your text giving history in GraceAccess anywhere from just a day or two up to a week.
Each time you text a gift, you receive a response thanking you for your gift. Included in that text is the instruction to text REFUND if wanting your gift refunded. You can do this or email email@example.com to help resolve your giving questions.
Text the word EDIT to the Smart Give number. You will then be texted a link to edit your information.
No. But because you are sent a reply with a link for account set-up the first time you give, you will need to be near a computer where you can type the link address into your browser and complete your account set-up on the computer. Any subsequent gifts after setting up your account may be done with your phone by a simple text.
As long as you have the function to send a text, you can use another device.
